Diski99 Sports News provides the service of telling grassroots sport stories while working on giving positive exposure to amateur clubs, athletes, referees, coaches and fans. The mission is to uplift the spirit of participating athletes, motivate them to do better through regular profiling and broadcasting their results and triumphs.

Diski99 Sport News is a news source for sport fanatics, clubs, players, coaches at grassroots/amateur level. It is also a platform to view fixtures, results and log standings of leagues playing at amateur/grassroots level. Diski99 Sport News is based at Mkhondo Local Municipality under the Gert Sibande District of Mpumalanga. It is the only website in the region and possibly the whole of South Africa that tell stories about local based amateur sports.

The sport coverage will extend to all active sport codes including traditional dance competitions. Currently Football is the number one played sport followed by Netball, Volleyball, Athletics, Basketball, Golf and Horse Racing in the Gert Sibande Region of Mpumalanga.
